This year, we will be holding free, open classes for those 16 & older at our Oakland studio from September 7th to November 23rd. These workshops will act as a continuation to our Spring session, mastering Philippine folk dance fundamentals and introducing new Philippine folk dances.

Workshops will be held on Sundays from 9AM to 10AM in Studio E on the third floor of the Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts, 1428 Alice Street, Oakland, CA.

Workshops will begin on Sunday, September 7th and conclude on November 9th. At the end of the session, students will also have the opportunity to perform as part of our Spring Recital on November 23rd at the HUSD Performing Arts Center, 2390 Panama St., Hayward, CA.

 

Due to the anticipated large number of enrollees, we will be hosting two separate shows. Adult workshop participants will be asked to perform in both shows. Final schedules will be confirmed and shared once the schedule is finalized. If you would like to perform as part of the recital on November 23rd, you must attend an additional mandatory dress rehearsal on Sunday November 16th at Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts.

**PLEASE NOTE: Attendance is required due to the limited number of classes. Participants may miss no more than THREE classes, and must include in their google form any planned absences.**
